Technical Project Manager
Directs and monitors activities for technology-based projects, or technical components of larger projects, from concept to launch. May act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Provides technical planning for the development, design, and systems integration from project definition phase through implementation.
Coordinate and communicate with production and quality assurance on project status.
Easily recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions.
Owns the development lifecycle and is responsible for managing technical risks throughout the project(s).
Provides consistent and comprehensive status reports, project updates and ongoing cost analyses, significant issue tracking, and communication at the team and management level.
Works and coordinates with staff to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of technology solutions.
Qualifications:
Relevant post secondary education and PMP certification required.
3+ years experience in a technical project management role.
Computer science background an asset.
Gaming industry experience recommended.
Project management software (such as Microsoft Project or @Task), Microsoft Office.
SVN, PHP, ActionScript, Java, bug tracking and database experience a plus.
Fluent in English.
